Alyssa Mancuso earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Athens State University in Athens, Alabama, and her Master of Arts in Community Counseling from the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. Alyssa has earned her certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Alabama, and is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is a member of the ALCA (Alabama Counseling Association) and the owner of Bridgeway Counseling. Alyssa fulfilled a lifelong dream when Bridgeway Counseling opened in 2016. Alyssa provides mental health and substance abuse counseling services to people of all ages, though her specialty is working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. Other areas of focus include: anxiety, adjustment issues, depression, stress, substance abuse, unhealthy relationships, and social skills. Before opening Bridgeway Counseling, Alyssa worked in various schools to provide youth and their parents with mental health services and support. She has also provided counseling and support to individuals and families experiencing substance abuse issues. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her son, her family, and friends, as well as attendind church.
