Alyssa Mancuso

Alyssa Mancuso Lamp earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Athens State University in Athens, Alabama, and her Master of Arts in Community Counseling from the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama.  Alyssa has earned her certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Alabama. She is a member of the ALCA (Alabama Counseling Association) and the owner of Bridgeway Counseling.  Alyssa fulfilled a life long dream when Bridgeway Counseling opened in 2016. She provides mental health counseling services to people of all ages, though her specialty is working with adolescents, young adults, and adults.  Areas of focus include: adjustment issues, anxiety, chronic stress, depression, parenting issues, social skills, substance abuse, unhealthy relationships, and women’s issues. Before opening Bridgeway Counseling, Alyssa worked with youth and their parents at Wellstone Behavioral Health. She also provided counseling and support to individuals and families experiencing substance abuse issues while she worked at Bradford Health Services. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and attending church.

Andy Markham

Andy Markham earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and completed work on his Master in Counseling Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi and Alabama A&M University.   Andy has earned his certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Alabama and is a member of the ALCA (Alabama Counseling Association).  By joining Bridgeway Counseling, he is fulfilling a life long  goal of being able serve clients in a private setting. He provides mental health counseling services to adolescents, adults, and families.  Areas of focus include, but are not limited to: depression, relationships, adjustment, anxiety/ worry, stress/ life management, difficulties at school, loss, and family concerns.  Before joining Bridgeway Counseling, Andy worked in with a number of in-patient facilities that serve children and adolescents, provided counseling/support to families within the state protection services,  provided individual counseling within the  Huntsville City Schools system and recently served as an Acute Care Director for a large mental health center in North Alabama. Andy continues work with Decatur Morgan West providing psychological assessments and coordinating treatment for children, adolescents and adults in North Alabama.   In his time away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family. Andy and his wife, Dusty, have 2 children Grayson and Millie. His family enjoys attending church in Huntsville, AL and his hobbies include participating in the Scottish Highland Games and helping with his son's baseball team with The Miracle League of North Alabama.
